Top Art and Design Apps Performance in Middle East Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the art and design category saw some interesting trends in the Middle East across a unified platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor demonstrated a notable upward trend in both revenue and user engagement. Weekly revenue consistently increased throughout the quarter, starting at approximately $136K and reaching about $200K by the end of September. Downloads also surged, beginning with around 66K weekly downloads and peaking at nearly 138K. Active users followed a similar growth trajectory, climbing from about 602K to over 732K by the quarter's end.

ibis Paint X experienced a stable performance in weekly revenue, fluctuating around the $500 to $800 range. Downloads, however, showed a gradual decline from approximately 29K to 18K weekly downloads. The active user base remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 360K mark.

AR Drawing: Sketch, Art, Trace focused on expanding its user base, with weekly downloads starting at around 873 and rising to about 11K before stabilizing around 7K to 8K. Despite the absence of revenue, active users increased from around 2K to over 21K by the end of the quarter, indicating growing interest in the app's features.

Future Self Face Aging Changer saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at about 15K in mid-August before settling around 5K in late September. Although revenue remained negligible, active users grew from about 1.6K to over 18K, suggesting a rising curiosity among users.

Lastly, AI Photo Editor: BG Remover showed variable performance in downloads, initially rising to about 15K and then dipping to around 2K to 7K towards the end of the quarter. Revenue, while minimal, showed slight increases, and active users fluctuated between 3K and 8K, reflecting moderate interest.
